KC Training for pointing breeds in Reeth, March 2010

Jump the first 2 mins but don't miss the final 3!
Here are some impressions of the first (wet) day in Reeth, Yorkshire. This is the best way to start if you are interested in working your setter. These training weekends are meant for those people who would not normally have training oportunities.

Petra, here again it seems I only get slow motion... sorry! It must have to do with full HD;-(

Still envy you both! Wonderful place. I can think of two things. One, is that youtube is still having a temporary problem - wouldn't be the first time, the other is that you should change the setting of your video editor program when you save the video or use another video editor.

Would love to watch all of the video Susan(did enjoy the 4 mins I did get to see!!)but that took my computer one hour to load so will have to watch at a different house where they have excellent broadband;o)))

Sorry about that, Carmel! I'm not really into this video stuff (yet) and will have to try to downsize things a bit, but you must definitely get broadband;-))) The grand finale is the best here and it is a shame you can not watch it. What if you go to Youtube for viewing?

Good to see this. Does this have something to do with the Fit for Function scheme of the Kennel Club? Hey and that Black Bull Hotel, that name intrigues!

Henk, I think not. At least not originally as they started before the Fit for Function campaign. I do not know since when the KC has been organising these events.
You cann read more here
as for the Black Bull: nicer outside than in;-))

They've been run for a few years now and the idea behind them was, as far as I know, to make training more accessible to everyone and not just those in the 'inner circle'. They're usually quite well attended too.

Your a lucky person to get this opportunity to train your dog on these fields.

And with the attention off a person who will help you!!
