Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
As an interim measure until the official register provided by the Kennel Club is fully up and running, the SEISC has decided to offer an opportunity for owners to post their recent PRA rcd4 DNA test results.
This will be on our PRA rcd4 page.
This is available to all owners worldwide not just SEISC members and will be in a similar format to that already used by the Kennel Club.
For further details please see the Club website www.seisc.co.uk.
Listing will be available sometime today - slight kink in my "html" !!

Debbie I agree with you whole heartedly...
My Jasmine has come back as a Carrier, so her blindness wasn't anything to do with this...so lets hope that we can find out why...as you so correctly say....its the 'not knowing' that is the hardest.
This problem is now going to be soughed out...its so easy to do...so lets keep this knowledge going in our breed...we have a reputation to keep up here in Irish Setters...we are known to be vigilant in our search for the problems, and we 'get them fixed' we now have the tool for this one..bring on the rest, and lets have the most healthy breed in 'dogdome'
I for one would like to congratulate all the people that have had their dogs tested...please keep it up, you are all great...and we are going to eradicate this.
Luxatori Kinky Killian (Sametsuz Kindred Spirit x Night Witch Red Wonder) is CARRIER
Luxatori Jimmy-James (Luxatori X-tra Long Lived x Sumaric Scarlet O'Hara) is CARRIER
Stil waiting for the results for my other dogs and will post them as soon as I receive them.
Gillian, I'd just like to say thank you to you and the SEISC for publishing the results of 'us continentals' as well as all the UK dogs. I saw the new KC lilst and it is as I thought: they only list KC registered dogs.
So yours is the most comprehensive list and it is fantastic that so many people are sending their dog's results to you for publication!
