Thanks for the results Trudy! What were entries like today?
Comment by Trudy Walsh on August 8, 2009 at 5:59pm
15 dogs and thirteen bitches entered, with 9 absentees.
We left beautiful weather in Dublin, but we were drenched on and off at the Show.
I did not show my girls because I have been too busy and too tired to get them ready, so I just took the day off and enjoyed myself.

My Uncle is stable, and my Aunt is improving. I'm just about to leave to collect some things from their home, go to visit my Uncle in Hospital and then to visit my Aunt in the Nursing Home in Kildare. I might just have time for a coffee first. Oh, I nearly forgot! I have to iron some PJs for Tom and some other bits and pieces for Maureen, also have to get some things for them in the Chemist and the supermarket! Now you know why I went to the Show to relax!
One very nice thing to report is that I have a new puppy, Laragh. She is 9 weeks old and a little ray of sunshine. Her sire is Glennara Coeur de Lion and her dam is Cilleigne Coire who goes way back to my old lines including. Ch A Aristocrat, Muharraq Firedance of A, Wendover Shamrock of A, among others.
I will try to post a photo.

Hi, I contacted the IKC to find out if the requirements for the Int Beaute Sh Ch title has changed and they told me :"No". Cathy Loughlin is using the wrong title on her Sh Ch bitch Rohanmor My Blue Heaven, this bitch is an Int Sh Champion ( 2 CACIB's, 2 different judges and the IKC has to request the title on the owner's behalf ). This will be put in writing to Cathy.

For the Int Sh Ch title no field qualifier is required, on the other hand for the Int Beaute title you still do need a qualifier.

Gosh you're lucky there, we need 4 cacib's in 3 countries and 3 judges for the International Show Ch title;
2 x cacibs in 2 countries under 2 judges + field trial qualification for the International champion; and the field trial qualification must be in actual competition;(think) but we don't have just 'qualifiers' here ; all the qualifiying is done during the running of a official champ Field Trial;
