Have been away all summer and am only getting back in the loop now! Well done Francis with Cian and Cassidy's success in the ring. Super stuff!!! Have to congratulate Robin from his Dad for his success in the field! Keep it up!

Nice to catch up with some yesterday. Saw the judging. Reserving comment about the judge because much to my astonishment he gave me BoB

It was actually good fun and there was that little frisson around the Irish judging as we waited to see whether he would get out alive!!!

Well done to the winners!

Well had a fairly good day at Birmingham im knackered today though..Rian pulled out in a massive junior class by the Australian Judge nearly all that were in there were little more mature than Rian so i was so pleased he behaved and stood well, got to say i was dissapointed with the IRWS placeings, and the Judge with Fields gave a 9th month puppy the CC with a SH Ch and a CC winner in the line up nice puppy but not ready for CC's yet makes ya wonder if they know what a slow matureing breed they are!!! done that puppy no favours

Here is that link to the TV programme about the European Show. Unfortunately no Irish Setters, but you will see Judi and Tullamore Ted, the IRWS.

I saw the show but found it a bit disappointing!!!! I did spot Marie in the background with a gordon!!;o)) The Knowles family came across very well though, but cant say the same about the Bichon guys!!;o))

Yes, I have to say that Michael and Geoff were very "bitchy" in their comments when they did not win. Also, the altercation in the beginning with the Papillon exhibitor left a lot to be desired. How could anyone behave like that knowing tat a camera was recording every word! I am just sorry that the cameras were not following a certain Irish Setter exhibitor. That would really have been fun????

Yes the bitching was awful(but does go on!!!) Yes a lost opportunity re the setter person you speak of!! Now that would have been very entertaining!!;o))

I have one caveat for you. Having often been involved in media interviews for work etc you MUST remember that these interviews will be edited to get the message that the programme maker wants.

There may be miles of footage cut out to get what an editor want to portray so dont take it all at face value!
