A very Irish 'Irish' day to-day at the International Show of Metz, France;
My 'Trawricka Gaelic Hero' alias Cian, sired by 'Ardbraccan Irish Magic; won the Cacib + Best of Breed; my little girl Molly ' Ardbraccan Moonshadow' also won the bitch Cacib; and they are both now International Show Champions!! as well as both already being German Show champions; Think can say that most of the credit goes to Trudy!
Just as a matter of fact the judge to-day was none other than Mr Vincent O'Brien from Ireland;

Pity Glen and I did not make it, but we had a relaxing day at home instead of driving for 8 hours...

oh dear!
I was just looking back some of my catalogues. (Tidying up but getting nowhere ) and the numbers of red and red and whites have dropped so dramatically in the last few years.
I enjoyed that last show I was at simply becuase there were some red and whites there.

Was just checking Higham Press for Darlington results and there is nothiong on at all yet for gundogs.
When they first started this service (and Fosse) the results used to come up lickety spit but now it can be night time before anything comes in.
I should have been there today but last week was a series of trips to the vet with the cat so that put the hat on Darlington.
