Myself and Sheila Hughes will be there, as wil,l i'm sure, most of the irish members here, who show their dogs;o)) Are you going yourself David?

Chantal and I are intending to be there, but I'm notorious for getting lost! Can we bring Darwin to it, just to watch?

I dont know about bringing a dog not entered!!? You would need to ask Karen McKelvey(a member here also) as she is the Show Secretary of Belfast & Dist. Irish Setter Club!!

Thanks, Carmel. Do you know when the Irish Setters will be shown?

Chantal and I (and Darwin) had a great time at the show in Doagh today! It was really great to meet so many of the wonderful setter community here, see their dogs, and get kissed by a few (yes, Rua, I am thinking of you) and chat with everyone. We really enjoyed it and I'm sure you will see us again!

How did it go in Kildare, Carmel?

Hi David!! Unfortunately we could not go to the gundog qualifier today as Abbey was worse today, so had to bring her to the vet this morning, and as I suspected she had a bad case of colitis! But she is improving this evening!! We can try for the qualifier again(probably next year!!) As I think we have missed the ones closer to home!! Was lovely meeting you and Chantel yesterday!! Hope you enjoyed the day;o)) Our good friends Fran and Marie did qualify their Gordon Setter today though, so Congrats to them;o)) He is Sh.Ch. Laurelhach Playwright!! Fran and "Yukka" were in our training group over the summer with Marc Ruymbeke!!

Carmel,
It was great to meet you and Sheila too, and your wonderful dogs - I am very taken with Rua!
I hope Abbey will be on the mend soon and gets a chance for the gundog qualifier.
Well done to Fran and "Yukka"!
