Comment by Lesley Goldsbrough on August 10, 2011 at 5:20am: Hi Carmel - Laoise is doing well. Friends of ours were amazed last week at how quickly she returned to me when in a field near Bath. They didn't see the biscuits!! However, the same cannot be said for Aunty Aoife who ignored me (and the biscuits) completely and continued to munch her way through 12 acres of mown grass. (Her particular heaven.) Laoise has put on a bit of weight but I don't think she is going to grow any more which is a shame. But she is in proportion and looks beauitful chasing flutterbyes. The beaver and the hare that came from your local pet shop both need surgery at the moment to reattach ears and tail but she does have an enormous duck which she quacks constantly. She is also very vocal at mealtimes (as is Aoife). I think that has something to do with mammy/granny Rua!!!!! Aoife is looking forward to her sausages on 20th. Love from Les, Eddie and the girls (including Nell of course) xxx

Comment by Carmel Murphy on August 11, 2011 at 4:07pm: Thats great that her recall continues to be good;o)) Its not just Mammy/Granny Rua who is vocal, her mother Cara can "Chat" a bit too;o)) Abbey would be proud of Laoise's flutterbye hunting;o)) I wont be home from Kerry until after the 20th, so will have to celebrate the 7th Birthday of Megan and Milo the following day!!
