7 year old bitch is searching for a new home (at the moment located in Vienna)

I am searching for a new home for an 7 year old bitch (born 15.7.2003) without any problems. A breeder wanted to put her down because she was covered 3 times and did not get any puppies.
Since yesterday evening she is in my house (Vienna, Austria) together with my own 3 dogs, cats and 2 childs (3 years and 8 months) and she makes no troubles at all.
At the moment there is a friend of mine who is thinking about taking her, but he is not sure.
So I am still searching for a new home.
addition from 7.9.2010: Lady already moved to her new home. She now lives together with a 2 yeat old Setter boy.A

What a sweet looking and lovely natured girl. Can't believe the owner did not look for a home for her themselves but was just going to end her days. She could have so many years of happiness yet and I wish you well in finding her someone who will love her. Let us know how she does and maybe the new owners could be members of ES.

She is such a lovely girl Ulrika. Her previous owner did not deserve to have her. Best of luck in finding her the right home.

Ulrike, this is such a beautiful girl & you are so wonderful to take her on until a new home can be found for her. Can't believe some people!!!!!!. How could they just not want her???
My two girls are the same age & my heart melts for this lovely girl. If we lived closer, she would be ours.
Hoping you find her a beautiful home with a family who will love her.

Shame on the breeder. What a super looking girl she is and what really hurts is the fact that they were so prepared to end her life when it is obvious she will make some lucky person very happy by being a wondeful companion. Too often these dogs are treated like objects when they do not come into whelp, they are just like people not everything is lucky in life. I hope you find her a super home.

Oh dear such an unforgivable story. Fingers crossed that this girl finds a family to love her. Do you have setter rescue in Austria?

the owner of a dog of my litter is thinking about taking her. he will call me today and maybe also pick her up today or tomorrow. that would be a very good solution. so please keep you fingers crossed for Lady, it would be a very loved home.
