One of my trips to the UK, in 2006 was to go to Crufts and to visit the Irish Setter Championship Show.
There was a week spare in between the two shows, so I was lucky enough to take the opportunity go to Egypt, with a friend.
Not a country I ever expected to visit, I found it amazing as well as like something out of biblical times - in fact, at times, a country gone mad!
Surprisingly, the highlight of the entire trip, was to hot air balloon over The Valley of the Kings.
With a Desert Landing, and the paperwork to prove it, I enjoyed 40 minutes of silence from high above, and breathtaking views of an ancient civilisation.
