Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World
I must say this is the kind of news I find worth reading these days! Even if we have to go as far as 1975 to find them!
Lovely post Henk!
This is the news we all want eh, Teresa! There were many more around those times, like a boy saved by his Irish setter when was attacked by bees, dog ending up in hospital etc etc.
Dogs are amazing;o)))) Especially Red Heads;o)
Torie, it was Margaret Morris in St. Louis. Her Irish setter Red jumped through the carwindow, turned and jumped back to get Margaret out of the car. The date was 1976. I'll never forget this, because I was welcomed as a journalist in Dutch dailies by an editor, giving me this picture from pressagency UPI. And yes: frontpage. The boy saved from attacks of bees was a Dutch boy, tied up to a tree.
Perfect post, Henk! But then, we knew it all along... :-)
Wonderful...many thanks Henk!
Thanks Susan and Myra. Oh Myra: great story about you in WellRed News!
I always knew our Reds were special (",)
Great story! Yes, they are special!
