Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

It was a long way up to the north and we took many ferries, but I was a very well behaved girl and was rewarded with a piece of steak from his plate in the 'Steak- and Fish House' on the ferry!

After visiting a friendly vet and only receiving half a saucage for wagging my tail (I hid the deworming tablets in it; I could bring my own btw.!), we went out to explore - 'Come on, move your legs!' (Oslo Fjord).

They took thousands of photos! They even stopped the car, only to take photos of trees!

And of trees that reflect in the water (Setersdalen)!

The weather was really 'Norwegian' and changed several times a day. To stay dry at night, they put a cap over the extended roof of our small camping bus, but I slept 'downstairs' anyway.

Whenever possible, we went for a walk and to explore the area.

We also went on longer hikes like the one on Preikestolen, the 'Preacher's Pulpit'. You find more photos of this adventurous hike on my new tour blog: www.joyontour.blogspot.com (German/English - there is also a link on my ES page).

Driving further north, my two tin-openers got a bit nostalgic and insisted of taking a photo in front o the Twinne Fossen (fossen = waterfall).

The reason for their nostalgia was, that they stood there before and crossed this beautiful mountain pass, the Vika Fjell, by bicycle when they were young and energetic - nearly 20 years ago.

Up on the Fjell (fjell = mountains), she unpacked the macro lens to take photos of some yellow stuff, that is growing only 1-2mm per anno, as she explained to me - humans are difficult to understand sometimes!

But when we reached the famous Sogne Fjord, I began to understand, why they wanted to come back here - it is beautiful!!

Here it is once more the morning after and I will continue my story in my next blog (I had to spil it up or leave out pics like the one below...).
