Hi there all.....I have only got two Setters at the moment, does this mean that if I get another I will have to leave???? I hope my youngster will have a litter soon, and of cause I will be keeping one of them. As we all seem to do...
I didn't have a setter for a few years and eventually got Tam she was a beautiful person, then I got Jas, she too is wonderful, but Tam was taken far too soon, she was only 4 when I had to have her put down, so I got Saffy to keep Jas company, (I think there dogs are better in two's or more) poor Jas, Saffy is quite mad. That is where we are now, I love them both, Dee and the girls

I qualify to be here, as I have just two boys at the moment, but personally I think I like 3 best : )
At any given time to have a young one (I LOVE puppies) just learning and starting out - one 4 or 5 yrs older, with puppyhood behind him but still young, tocontinue to train/compete/etc with - and another 4 or 5 yrs older again, who has been there/done that with me and knows me so well..........
That's my ideal : ) But right now my oldest is only 4yrs, so I think I will only have 2 for quite awhile more. I really don't want all my dogs to be old at the same time!! Joan (and Malachy and Timmy)

IHi everyone.....

I have two girls one 10 & the other 6, they are great mates & I've have just been watching my younger one Scarlett tormenting my older girl Mahogany by sitting on her favourite toy so she can't get to it. I think I will have to intervene now and even out the playing time, or this could become very noisy as Mahogany is letting me know, shes GOT MY TOY! That's one of the things I love about Setters they are clowns at heart.!
