Well done everyone.
The Icelandic handlers did very well and three of them got into semifinal (10 handlers) and the Icelandic team was in second place =)

Are there any results for the Junior Handlers who went to the Nordic Winners Show in Finland?
Iceland is a fantastic country for dog owners. Been there many times and seen quite a lot of the country. Did a couple of treks and a bike ride with a charity group from the UK. I could certainly live here quite happily.

Irish Setter department intended to go hiking on 20 December.
We intend to meet with Olís in Norðlingaholti / Rauðavatn kl.13, then drive in convoy to Silungapolli make us cheerful day with our four legs frends;)

- About Me:
- I have one Irish Setter and two Cavalier. My Irish Setter is Cararua Braveheart (Egan), and he's 11 months old. I've handled Irish Setters for my breeder for four years now. Mostly I handle Ardbraccan Leading Light both in breeding classes but also in Junior Handling. I also handle Cararua Alana in breeding classes. Those two are the parents of my Egan.

Egan's third and fourth show =)
On the 22nd and 23rd of August there was a double show here in Iceland the first of that kind :) I entried Egan both days and I do not regreat that! He got excellent critique and two CC!!! Only 13 months!
On Saturday he got Excellent and CK, 1. place in junior class and was 2nd best male with CC =D

Egan's second show
This weekend was Egan's second show and he was entered in junior class.
He got "Can not be judged" because he was limping :(
But his critic was GREAT!
"Excellent type, lovely head and expression, could be slightly bigger, but very well balanced, correct anatomy, good coat quality and color. He's limping to his hind leg, cannot be judged."
Judge: Tamas Jakkel (Hungary)
The judge was not happy about having to send him out and he said to me yesterday evening that Egan could have been his winner a… Continue

Egan's first show!
This weekend was the first show of the year here in Iceland. It's the biggest one that has been held, exactly 811 dogs. Maybe not big on your scale but definatly big on our scale :D. I entried with Egan. The judge was Laurent Pichard from Switzerland.

Gina & Anton are going to be de-sexed tomorrow, and I am a bit sad. The thing is, they sense my mood, although I try to stay funny and upbeat. Feel as if I violate them. But no soppiness - it has to be done.
