Charlies new Friend

Despite my husbands determined "No more dogs" we received a call from Barbarra Rogers (ISRS) out of the blue telling of a male setter in our area looking for a new home and was we interested? Being the gulible person that I am I had to go and have a look at him, and needless to say Charlie now has a new friend. His name is Ronnie and he will be 3 in June. Having recently had a gastric by-pass I need to lay down during the day for a rest and guess who likes to join me - yes Charlie and Ronnie - soon wont be room for my husband on the bed!!

Charlie is curled up on the pillows and Ronnie by my legs.

The boys have had a few spats to start with, but now Charlie lets Ronnie be top dog they are getting on fine, took them down Sandringham woods yesterday and they both throughly enjoyed themselves Charlie showing Ronnie all his favourite haunts.

Looks like he's got his feet under the table to me, or is it 'body on the bed'. Whichever, he looks well and settled and ok now for life, bless him, thank goodness there are people like Barbara and yourselves around.

well anne he looksto have made himself at home already hope him and charlie become the best of friends.we have a boxer as well as layla she grumbles cos layla bumps into her sometimes but while layla was at the groomers today lucy was lost she kept going to the door looking for her guess she really likes her afterall

This looks like a cosy scene Anne.........looks very familiar to me, except I've usually got 4 on there!!
Glad the boys have made peace with each other, hopefully they will be friends for life now:)))
