How long have you owned Irish Setters?: since 1976

About Me:: I live in the County of Cornwall, United Kingdom with my husband Ian and family of Irish Setters. They are firstly our pets and all live in and have access to the whole of the house. Our family had our first Irish Setter in 1976 and since then I have had great fun and enjoyed some success with the dogs I have shown and of course meeting lots of new friends over the years. The picture shows the foundation bitch of the Polmennor's, Lynwood Castaspell Over Polmennor, she was my very special 'Magic'

Glad to welcome in 2010 with new lives

The latter half to 2009 was a sad time. It saw me lose Polmennor Village Gossip Sh CM in July at 9 years old and Polmennor Sweet Dreams one week before Christmas at 12 years old. My young bitch Polmennor Willow Pattern who had been winning well all year had a serious accident during December fracturing her pelvis in two places and spent more than 3 weeks over the Christmas and New Year in a veterinary hospital after an operation to plate the pelvis… Continue

I had hoped to go in to the UK for all the celebrations, as I am judging in a couple of weeks in Sweden.However, I won't be able to get there now, so will have to just make another trip!

Unfortunately he was an Akita and he just ate his way through the two doors, so he lost his bits. Then everyone had FUN there was no chance of puppies......I must say he would have made a great stud dog!!! Dee and the girls, cant wait for the pictures....
