Balou and Lempi did well in the group rings

My red darlings Balou (BALTW-08 Kanelin Make The Cut) and Lempi (Original Kiss Of Fire) have made me really happy in the show rings lately.

Balou took BOB and later on BIG-2 in a combined FCI 7/8 group in Valkeala show! The judge was Paavo Mattila from Finland. Lempi was BOS-puppy in the same show!

GOODNIGHT DARLING BUMBLE

It is with great sadness, we say Goodbye, to our beloved home-bred Labrador, Bumble, Aust Ch Burberry Bumble Bee (NRD).

How quickly, the last fourteen and a half years seem to have gone, and we just Thank Bumble for sharing our lives, and giving us so much laughter,love and happiness.

Truly the most wonderful ambassador for the breed, we are honoured to have bred and owned her, and everyone who met Bumble, just adored her.

1. AK for Skadi

Toboggans Amazing Skadi got her 1. AK on field trial today (15th november 2009). This is the first time an IRWS achieves this placing in Norway.

Now she can enter the VK-trials (Winners Class) for the next two years, which are the most prestigeous trials and where the CACITS are achieved (very hard to get though). CACIT is needed to become a field trial champion, in addition to 25 FT points.

DASH

Dee her symptoms were really high temp vomiting and walking with stiffness on the hind legs.

Every test came back normal,the vet thought there was a mass showing up on the bladder in xray and ultra sound.

Thats why they opened her up.

But NOTHING abnormal inside??

Still not out of the woods as she is on antibotics and pain relief at the moment,so when they are finished will be the teller!!!

She does seem much brighter,but still not her normal… Continue

LUPIN IS A MOTHER!

Lupin is the proud mother of eight babies - 3 girls and 5 boys, born yesterday afternoon, 12th November.
We are eternally grateful to the two wonderful vets involved, both here and in Sweden, and to Camilla, and to Everyone out there on Exclusively Setters, who have given us so much support.
For some reason, I cannot download photos on to this Blog, but some can be viewed on My Photos.

Update on Dash

Thankyou all for your best wishes regarding Dash.
She is home at last.Has a very LARGE zipper up her belly after explorotory surgery.
To find NOTHING!!! She is resting comfortably in front of the fan and at this stage all going well.
So not only am I at a loss at to what was wrong so are the vets?????
