I think it would be good to have a new tab for results, it might encourage results to be put up and hopefully add pictures, and easier to find and refer back to. I like to see what is being shown or trialed in other parts of the world !

Nightwing won the Gundog Group and went on to Best Open in Show, under Mr Rainer Vourinen from Finland. Pictured here, she was just two years of age. A grandaughter of Wendover Crofter and Wendover Jaquetta, she was pure Wendover on both sides. She features behind some of the favourites, Amhurst Lutuli and her litter brother Amhurst O'Raffin, Amhurst Raggle Taggle, Amhurst Ragsdale Reggae, and continues through to the present day Irish, Amhurst Nome…

Irish Red and White Setter Toboggan's Amazing Skadi got her 2AK (2.price, Open Class) at Kongsvoll-prøven(Highland field trial on grouse) on october 2nd 2009. She is the only irws with this high placing in Norway, together with Ben of Sugarloaf (visitor from sweden) who got the same placing sometime in the early nineties.
She is also the first norwegian IRWS with several field trial placings, and with placings both on highland and forest trials.
This also makes her…

From the archives, this is Crofter at about 17 months of age, a little while before leaving England for Perth, Western Australia. My wonderful friends, Ros, Geoff and Jenny Brown (now Scott) were kind enough to visit J and Jimmy James, to see Crofter, and take photographs of him for me. Ros is in the photo asking Jenny if she thought Myra would like him!!
This was the start of all the wonderful Irish Setter things to happen, and Crofter flew to…

Never easy, in my opinion, to manage that super group photo! Always someone looking the other way, or chasing a fly, maybe even yawning!
Oh! How I remember the fun with this photo, taken about thirteen years ago. With much laughter, we actually ended up with everyone looking the right way.Happy. happy memories, of Briary, Raffin, Brogue, Kerry and Tarka.

Thanks to everyone who has sent messages of congratulations on our recent successes.
We are proud that our stock are still fit & healthy enough to win at the highest level into their veteran years. Promise was gone 8 years old when she won her last CC, Fern will be 8 in december of this year.
Bliss is now our 3rd generation of Show Champion bitches.

It's undelivable how fast time goes by as our tiny puppies after Bobby (CH Redword Diamonds R' Blue) and Ansa (Redword Our Friend) have grown a lot. Today, 5,5 months later, I got one of them for a visit. Her name is Hilma, R. Flame Queen Opal and indeed a darling!…

Darling Lupelina is in whelp to Ibsen, Copper's Prat Bubbla, top winning son of the UK's leading sire, Eng.Sh Ch Caskeys Concept at Aoibheanne JW (16CC's 8 Res CC's) Following the sad loss of Lupin and Ibsen's puppies, just prior to leaving quarantine, we imported semen from Sweden, and are indebted to Camilla for all of her help.
Today we had the ultra sound, and daring to believe she could be in whelp, the ultra sound confirmed.
We have…

Well we are rather pleased to announce that the time and effort spent, firstly running off to Sweden to fetch urgently 'Ibsen', as Charmed decided to come early into season, by plane, when all was already planned by train and road, but no a day trip to Stockholm airport was necessary for the 'star'; and then of course in the end she was mated quite late on in her season (so yes train/car arrangement would have been ok) but but the matings were all very easy and truly quite a 'love story'…

Instead of visiting the ISAE Championship show this year Glen and I spent two days at the Field Trials of the Irish Setter Club Germany in Bad Kreuznach. Day one it was a dry sunny day with a strong cold wind, day 2 was overcast with more cold and moist wind. Especially on Sunday the birds were scarce (or knew where to hide) and many good dogs did not get a chance to point.
I was thrilled with Glen's result on the Saturday, in the Field Trial Solo he was placed…
