I just have to write and say how proud I am of Saffy (Kirkavagh Darara At Mayfred), she went on her first training day (for working dogs) yesterday, I have posted some pictures on my page, she did as they say 'took to it like a duck to water' a wee bit too enthusiastic for the quail in a cage, but she will learn, it was interesting to see her casting the field that just came naturally. I think that everyone there was pleasantly surprised at a 'pure' show dog doing what came naturally. I must…

Feels like heaven. My husband just called and said that our homebred Momo (daughter of Lohmann's Erna, who is out of FTCh. Lohmann's Dietze x FTCh. Lohmann's Carlotta) has managed to get her final points for the title of a GERMAN HUNTING CHAMPION today and not only just, but with a strong first price including CACIT. Actually I can't remember when last an IS won CACIT in Germany...
This lady is simply amazing, especially as she is just back from maternity.
O.K. time for me to prepare…

It's hard to write about it even though 4 months have passed. Faza was my only dog, my best friend. She will always stay in my heart.

Girly keeps on her winnings again in Germany,
on Friday on Bundessieger under Mr. Bernd Kleine(G) she won strong intermediate class what gave her VDH ticket counted for 2. Second day at the National show under Mr.Hans Wiblishauer (G) Girly did repeat her winning from yesterday out of intermediate and got another 4th for her VDH ticket. She did it all with minimum 3 shows, starting being shown only 2 months ago in Wiesbaden when she got her fist VDh ticket, now she has to wait…

This year I decided to enter Andy instead of the Hortobágy Cup, at the Saint Hubert handled by my hunter friend (owner of the pointer bitch, you can see on a lot of photos on my page) who…

I had the honour of being invited to judge at the international show in Rostock. The Landesgruppe of the Verein Pointer u. Setter made me very welcome and I had a super team to assist me in the ring. The atmosphere was very friendly and I would thank all exhibitors and helpers for making this a pleasant day.
It was a lovely end of day seeing the Irish Setter bitch Brilliant Bronze Siofra Little Elf winning the group.

In obtaining the res. CAC/CACIB ar Charleroi show (B), under the judge J. De Cuyper (B),
Ch. Fletcher of McBirdy becomes Belgium Champion ! We are very proud of this new tittle because it is the third tittle of Belgium Champion gained by a McBirdy's dog (Ch. Yuelynn of McBirdy, Int. Ch. Cheyenn of McBirdy and now Ch. Fletcher of McBirdy).
For info, to be Belgium Champion, a dog have to be qualified in Field Trial !
So, he is to be a show dog, but also a hunting dog (and it's a…
