Moving with all dogs!

OK, now we are all out... on the dark country side!!! I think a lot would say "If you living on a small island in the middle of Eastern Sea - could you be even more isolated... " YES! Absolutely!!! In a cottage from beginning of 1910:th, without TV, shower, washingmashine... You name it!

But what we have is pice. Long light nights and quiet mornings. No neighburs having partys. No ferrys or turists. I allready get use to a slower lifestyle!!! I read instead of watching TV and the…

Wanted: Male Irish Setter from Champion Bloodlines

Hi Everyone - I have recently befriended our first member from Brazil (I think), Cristina Manfredini, who owns a kennel in São Paulo. Cristina is looking for a new addition to her kennel, a beautiful boy from great bloodlines that she can breed with some of her existing dogs. Since there are not a lot of options in South America, she is opening up her search and we both feel that this may be a… Continue

Love

There's nothing like a mother's love is there? How about a grandmother's love? There's nothing like being loved by an Irish setter, that's for sure! So happy to be a part of a community of setter lovers, and setter-loved.

Save Our Setters Texas-to-Tennessee Super Transport - July 28, 2007

As I mentioned in my Week 3 update, Alissa and I ran the first and third legs of today’s Texas-to-Tennessee Setter rescue transport (with Carol Johnson picking up the second leg) for Save Our Setters (www.saveoursetters.org). The trip covered 521 miles (838 km). Our special passengers were Tommy, Aaron, Gulliver, Toby and Georgia Girl. Three Irish and two English, although I thought one of the English was a red and white…

How do we behave on dog shows?

Often I hear comments arround the ring about judges - and the critics are hard many times! But I was thinking about us!? You know people at dog shows. I think dogs are easy to deal with and to understand - but people? After many years on shows I reflected over how to behave on our shows.

In Sweden - now also in Finland- everybody got their own tent on shows, very close to ringside. Just to get into the ring is complicated and to see what´s happening in the ring is hardly impossible.…

BUT THEN??? What´s next on the list?

For me, right now, on second place my…

That payed off and she ended 5:th best bitch!!! Lisa, Dunswood Alisa, ended 4:th best bitch so we had all a very nice day!…
