GSCD Field Trial / Bad Tennstedt 12./13. april 2008

This weekend the GS club of Germany held it's spring trial in east germany. With an entry of 40 dogs (IS, ES and GS) for the 2 days, coming from Germany and Switzerland we started in big open, slightly hilly fields. In young dogs class you can enter your dog in a kind of talent test (JAP), Derby solo or Derby couple. We saw some really great youngsters mainly from french/german GS blood. Field Trial class was not so lucky, due to many hares, roedeer and some other things that can happen;-)
Only 2 dogs got into the prices, which was the swiss GS Black Joggers Ebony Sidney, owned and handled by Pia Blatter with EXCELLENT 17 points and CAC. Runner-up was...IS Lohmann's Momo with EXCELLENT 16 points. Bred, owned, loved, handled etc. by all four twolegged members of the Lohmann's family. Our son went to bed in the hotel with a huge golden pokal and I am afraid, I will have problems tomorrow that he can not take it to school.

Tired but happy greetings Christiane

Gefeliciteerd (congrats gratuliere). By the way Lohmanns Elfriede at the EC with that old lady mrs Zahlmann was a great team. Why not let Momo accompany your son? Makes school less boring!
