Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Thankyou to everyone that commented on my blog about the little orphan English Setter puppy called Boss, surrendered to the SPCA by his owner because he was not interested in pheasants.. So many asked to be kept informed of his wellbeing that I am delighted to be able to post this blog.

Boss was visited today by a lovely gentleman from Auckland and his family, who already had experience of owning a Gordon Setter. Despite informing them of his one or two bad habits :-) it was obvious that Andy and his wife had done a little research on the breed before visiting him and had already identified some techniques to assist them tackle his barking for attention. Boss was very smoochy towards them and I am delighted to say that he has gone to his new home in Auckland where he will be a cherished family companion. I felt sad saying goodbye to Boss as he had been such a wonderful house guest to have stay with us but also happy for him.

They truly were a lovely family, a 16 year old boy and an 11 year old girl, well I think Boss may well have landed on his little paws :-)

Hi to all the wonderfully kind well wishers out there who answered the blogg Jo posted about me. You all know me as 'Boss'. My new family Andy(my Dad) Maria (my Mum) Damon (my Brother) Niamh (my Sister) and Siani (my cat) call me Ozzy. Thank you for all the kind thoughts. It makes a dog feel good to know that there are so many caring people out there. Thank heavens for the likes of Jo and Matt who saved me.

I've had a blogg set up under my Dad's name and under my new alias Ozzy. Join me to catch up on how well I'm doing and what wer're getting up to.
