Home for Irish Setter Lovers Around the World

Shortly after arriving at work today a colleague asked me if I had seen the beautiful English Setter puppy at the SPCA in Hamilton. "NO" I replied and my colleague grabbed the phone book. Poor little Boss had been abandoned by his owners because he would not hunt pheasant. The SPCA were wonderful and agreed that this adorable little guy can live with us and are happy for us to find him that special and forever home.  Already he has met and was greeted in a welcoming manner by all our setters. Boss has the most lovely nature, loves everyone and will be a super companion for the lucky person that welcomes this little treasure into their family. For now though he is enjoying many meals of delicious biscuit and lovely meat to try and help him put a little more weight on.

Bless him, and thank goodness he's fallen on his feet after a bad start; and bless you for taking him in.

Good luck Boss.

Thank you for your wonderful, warm heart Joanne.  Boss is beautiful, and thanks to you, he is sure to have a happy life.  As for people who treat dogs as disposable ... well, there just aren't the proper words.  Not that can be used amongst civilized folks anyway.

Aww, bless his little heart, and bless you for taking him in.  He looks an absolute sweetie...as I said earlier, its a good job you are so far away otherwise I think it would be tears and tantrums until hubby said I could have him.  I hope you find him a forever home soon, he certainly deserves one. xxx
