Today I had to say "Goodbye" to my beautiful Charm, Sh Ch Ardbraccan Gaelic Charm. She went quietly and peacefully, a perfect lady, as always. She will be greatly missed.

So sorry Trudy that Charm had to go! She had a good long life and kept going for a year more than her sister Rua(Ardbraccan Glenrua) who went around this time last year! Beautiful head shot of her;o))

Trudy,
So sorry to hear that you lost Charm. I didn't realise this when I spoke to you yesterday. I know she was very special to you. She was really lovely.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. Charm was a very special Lady who never, ever did anything wrong in her life. She always carried herself with dignity and grace. On the day she won her title, by winning BOB and Group 1, I found a very small lump on her thyroid. This was investigated and found to cancerous. She had half of her thyroid removed and has lived a full life ever since. That was nearly seven years ago. In the past year, she developed several tumours and four weeks ago Pyometra which was treated with two different antibiotics. However, this week I knew that her time had come. She was finding it difficult to swallow and was passing blood. It was a joy and a privilege to have known this wonderful, and very special lady.
