Yesterday we were on duck hunting. All fishing pools were frozen. All ducks of the pools at the near were collected in a small open hole in the ice. So we are standing around it for hours to shot the ducks until darkness. Only a Labrador and my Reds were there to do the retrieving job. Milan and Chili did very good job - 140 ducks were shot and picked up by the dogs. Sometimes the job was not easy, specially when deseased & escaped ducks were hiding in the reed many meters away - but my Reds used there noses and do they jobs. Both of my dogs were hunting in the cold water (I get heartattack!) to pick up there deseased ducks - they come out of the hole with climbing. The coat of them were frozen but the go on with hunting. It was a great experience for me and the dogs.

Very nice pictures and really good job of your dogs! Andy fell into the ice on Sunday and I was shocked - not like him. He started to drink from the water and watched us saying: what's your problem? everything is all right! - but he couldn't get out from it so my friend throw the leash around his neck like a lasso - after numerous tries he succeed - and pull him out. And he, as if nothing strange has happened continued his search. Hope this will never repeat again and wish you the same!!!!!
