On this day, 19 years ago my first Irish Setter was born :) Lun was born in Ljubljana on April 18th came into my life because my dad was not paying attention and my cousin knew I have always wanted a dog *VBG*. So he asked my dad to get me this puppy from their neighbor's dog who just had a litter. So, my dad wanted to get rid of him and said "OK". That is the pure accident how I ended up with an Irish Setter and not a Bull Terrier .

We had a little party and also little games for the dogs. There were 4 parts, 1. collecting balls with no "seeing help" from the owner (see photos), 2. make the dog step into the triangles by giving orders from outside the ring (see photos), 3. agility for beginners…

Yippee! There is hope!
I have found wonderful things to do LIKE DIG, and DIGGGG.....and DIGG some MORE!
I don't really think my master thinks that digging is so cool, especially because I bring in dirt and mud into my palace. Also, my nose gives me away! I have this unmistake-ably BLACK nose and unbeknownst to me it turns BROWN and a dusty brown at that after I've been having fun in the back yard!
I see birds almost every day: Big birds, but mostly small ones. I want to run…

This weekend the GS club of Germany held it's spring trial in east germany. With an entry of 40 dogs (IS, ES and GS) for the 2 days, coming from Germany and Switzerland we started in big open, slightly hilly fields. In young dogs class you can enter your dog in a kind of talent test (JAP), Derby solo or Derby couple. We saw some really great youngsters mainly from french/german GS blood. Field Trial class was not so lucky, due to many hares, roedeer and some other things that can…

I got this photo yesterday. This is Hildur from my last litter who lives with Thord and Berit at kennel Irish Toddy´s. What more can you ask for as a breeder, when you se how much the dogs means for the owners. Hildur who was celebrating her first birthday is the one who is just taking a piece of her cake at the photo.
Isn´t it so lovely to…
