DOG SHOW TULLN 2009

At the international dog show in Tulln (Austria), that took place on the 3rd of October 2009, my NIK got Exc. 1st, CAC and by this win he became Austrian Champion. I am very proud of him. So far he is also Slovenian Junior Champion and Slovenian Champion, but above all he is my Champion.…

A runaway

Has anyone been desperate, broken-hearted, hopeless, scared, miserable ... at the same time? This is how I felt last Sunday. We walked our three dogs in the nearby forest on a sunny and bright autumn day when the youngest setter girl 'Summer' (8 months) suddenly disappeared in a forest plantation area chasing deer. Poorly boy...

My young dog, who is only 2 years of age, has just started to have great difficulty 'wee-ing' over the weekend & has had to be catheterised 3 times now to empty his bladder. His urine isn't too acidic or alkaline, tests negative for blood, or crystals or bacteria, a little protein in there but not so much that it worries the vet. He is desperate to go to the loo but just manages a dribble or two.....in an older dog the vet says she would immediately suspect prostrate trouble but apparently… Continue

First selection of McBirdy litter I (Ch. Jonola Dr. Doolittle x Ch. Frisbee of McBirdy) - 7 weeks

Wim & Aleks Lauwers visited us this week-end, and together we made a first selection of these beautiful puppies. Dooley & Beatles were also at home. Dooley seems to be proud of such beautiful puppies. Well done Dooley ! (and of course Frisbee)
