I said the whole winter - no pups this year! I want to show my youngsters this summer so no litter... And when Lisa had her season in Marsh it was easy to remember not to mate but... then allready in May the decition was forgotten!!!
So now I got baby-smell in the house again! It´s hard to describe the sweetness of pups - but for me it´s the best thing in the world! It´s the smallest litter for me ever - only three! And Smilla ,the mum, is a fantastic parent with plenty of milk - so…Continue

Often I hear comments arround the ring about judges - and the critics are hard many times! But I was thinking about us!? You know people at dog shows. I think dogs are easy to deal with and to understand - but people? After many years on shows I reflected over how to behave on our shows.
In Sweden - now also in Finland- everybody got their own tent on shows, very close to ringside. Just to get into the ring is complicated and to see what´s happening in the ring is hardly impossible.…Continue
Have you reflected over the dogwalks? For me it´s not only exorcise - it´s meditation! The dayly long walks are realy healing my soul.
Yesterday it was a typical hot summerday - and we are so lucky to have the seabreeze! I thought about how happy I am with my setters - they are all happy, healthy dogs between 1-11 years. And my dogs ARE my best friends - as they say " dogs are mans best friend"!
BUT THEN??? What´s next on the list?
For me, right now, on second place my…Continue
