Paul and I share our home in Lincolnshire with 5 Irish Setters ranging from 5 months to 10 years old, a Border Terrier "Wilf", who thinks he is an Irish and 2 cats.
Hi Jean and Paul,

well done on your place at crufts. my friend in pointers got a 3rd.just wish i could have had our willow there. never mind. I had shadow fall on me yesterday so ive been the vets today. His bits swole up and though i couldnt see this when his legs calapsed as i assumed at first it was his artitis. but know it was the other and the vet doesnt know why it happened. Hes ok now and ive got anti-biotics for him just in case he has a infection..
Thank you Joan. Unfortunately we had to cut our stay in the UK short because my mother took poorly back here in NZ. Our last 6 weeks were quite frantic as I came back to NZ for a week and at the same time the dogs were going through their complicated treatment programme to return at the end of September. I had hoped to be able to say my farewells at Driffield but could not go to the show in the end.
We had a lovekly time in the UK and I miss all of the new friends I made at the shows as well as the old friends we had. I think the dogs are happier back home however as they live the life of Riley on our 20 acre property.
It would be lovely to see you if you got over to NZ.
Best regards - Gayle
