Everybody who is into Irish Setters for a long time, shurrely can remember our friend with the red jersey, Jean-Claude Pelcat from the Irish setter kennel "du Mont-Sithieu" in France.
Sadely Jean-Claude Pelcat died last Monday.
We have a beautiful bitch from his very last litter, Aimée Comme Tress du Mont-Sithieu.

Yesterday we were on duck hunting. All fishing pools were frozen. All ducks of the pools at the near were collected in a small open hole in the ice. So we are standing around it for hours to shot the ducks until darkness. Only a Labrador and my Reds were there to do the retrieving job. Milan and Chili did very good job - 140 ducks were shot and picked up by the dogs. Sometimes the job was not easy, specially when deseased & escaped ducks were…

A-litter guys Eppu and Boo met on the weekend and had a really nice wrestling match on Eppu's yard.

Ten years ago yesterday, we lost our beautiful, Ferdi, from lymphocarcoma. Ferdi was not even four years old. A beautiful blue belton, Ferdi, Amhurst Midnight Sun, was the most wonderful of English Setters, and had a super, loving personality.
We have frozen semen from him, so one day maybe we will have some offspring.
