I was so sad to read your page. I remember when I lost my first setter, my neice was having her 6th birthday party. Being her favourite Aunty I was too devastated to go and be a burden on all the festivities. So her mum packed up the cake put all the kids in the bus & came to my house. When I opened the door my beautiful Renee said "Don't be sad Aunty Di, Tahjars and angel now! When are you going to get another puppy?" Children have wonderful hearts. The next day I went out looking, and have never been without an Irish Setter since. The breed just have a most magical nature. When my mum was dying from cancer my girl sat by her side the whole time, and I have just lost my papa this past Easter and my girls were such a source of joy for him since loosing his wife, and for me as they do not leave my side now. Don't wait too long before you add a special puppy to your family.
